How can you tell a real louis vuiton item from a fake>? give me some tips and trix?

i have a real authentic luis vuiton coin purse .

i have a fake luie vuton white monogram wallet.

i heard the real ones have serial numbers in it.
my fake white monogram wallet has the serial number inside printed in gold letters

can it be possible that the fake ones from the chinese bootleggers
look the same as the real ones and could pass off as the real ones?

ALL OF MY FAKE 20$ LUIE VUTON ITEMS LOOK JUST AS GOOD AS THE REAL ONES

HOW CAN I TELL THE FAKES FROM THE REAL ONES THAT LOOK IDENTICAL EXACTLY THE SAME ?

On a real Louis Vuitton bag, the handles will darken over time.

No offense, but if you don't even know how to spell Louis Vuitton, I doubt you have an authentic anything.

It may look better than the real, ( which I doubt ) but fake never lasts as long as the real.

If I ever had anything fake, I would feel disgusting.

1. the leather color is different
2. LV should be on the zipper
3. see if it is from france
4.look at the price
5. watch for lining that isn't stiched but glued
6.real ones have perfect threading
7.real ones are $400 and more but fakes ones are $80-$20
8.should be yuellow thread
9.if LV is upright on both sides it might be fake
10.if it is from ebay
11.if seller did not give date code it is fake
12. if seller says no returns

that is how to tell if they r fake!

Hi i had the same question when i went to New York City. Normally the fake louis vuittons say made in italy or made in______ with the name of a country in the blank. It is very hard to tell. & yes the ones from chinatown or where ever else can pass as real ones ,one of mine has passed as a real one several times. norm. u can tell depending from where you buy it :)

I would say the real Vuitton bags have a tag on the inside to show that they are authentic. If you're in doubt, go to Dillard's or Macys and a sales rep can probably tell you.

well for one thing...just get a real luis vuiton from the store. theres not a lot out there but its the best that you can do. just don't buy them from those random l.a stores who say they're real.

fakes have red LVs, real do not, and pleassseee, you CAN tell by the leather, fake ones look so cheap!!People can TELL, and it makes people who spend the money on the high quality stuff MAD! (OH and by the way, in 5 yrs mine will still look brand new, and yours will have fallen apart!!!)
