Being able to spend Thanksgiving with my Daddy this year.
It will be his last one. His cancer has returned and now has gone to his brain. So...I'm very thankful to make at least one more memory with him!!
So..everybody....please tell your family and loved ones that you do love them! Cause you just never know what the near future holds!!!

I'm thankful, I'm going to my oldest daughters for dinner this year. Two years ago, I cooked all day and had invited friends over, and my son and his new wife. Right before dinner was ready to put on the table, I called to see where my son and daughter in law was, my daughter in law said that if my daughter was going to be home, they weren't coming! Can you believe that!! Well I said of course, this is her home, she will be here. We always had great Holidays, and we were always a close family, until my sons wife came into the picture and tried to run everything her way. I just feel bad that my son is not included in our Holiday celebrations anymore due to her controlling personality! I know though, that I am not alone, and there are other families with such problems as well, so we just need to be thankful for all that we do have, and our great friends, and family that want to share our company.
