Loki is masculine. Doesn't matter how it sounds to us, since we don't speak ancient Danish/Norse.

Loki was a boy sort of. Loki was not a god. He was a myhtical creature similar to the giants often mentioned in Norse Literature. He played an extremely important part in Norse mythology in that it was one of his Children Fenrir or Fenris Slayed the god Odin. He was father to a number of children, however in the form of a mare he was impregnated and gave birth to an 8 legged horse which became the steed of Odin.

Loki was the Norse God of evil, as you stated. The information I looked up said he was male

Loki was male. I remember a science fiction show (don't remeber which one) in which they named a boy "Loki" because he was mischevious like the Norse god was.

Sounds like a boy's. But then again I already knew who Loki was. I also own a book called Chi-Wee and Loki, where Loki is a native american boy.

It is the name of a Norse god, and for that reason I'd go for male. But I have never encountered anyone using that name.

Sounds more like a male name since Loki was a male god. Also if you are thinking of naming your daughter Loki think 2x please.
