Go to your Commissioners Court meeting. In Texas, it is like a City Hall meeting, except it is for county matters. Commissioners Court approves your coroners annual budget. Commissioners Court allows citizens to speak their mind in a public forum. When they hear your complaint, they will point you to the folks who will get the job done with a directive to see that you are satisfied. The coroner will help you so that he has minimum hostile interaction with the Commissioners come budget time. You have the edge given your status. Use it.

You can go the bureau of Statistics and ask for a copy of the autopsy. If this does not work, go to the county coroner's office and ask for a copy. Since you are the wife, you have a right to a copy.
I think you need the answer to his death. If he was murdered, they may be holding that information until something is solved. Check on that as well.
Sincerely your friend.

I recomend contacting the coroners office. they might be able to give you a copy on disk so that you can make multiple copies. But i would also make them aware that someone is a bit TOO interested in his autopsy info, chances are that will lead to more info on his death. I hope this helps.

When we got my father's - we got it from the county medical examiners office - (he died in San Antonio) - so I would check with the medical examiner or coroner.
