I once met a girl who was obsessed with vampires. It was kind of scary. I decided I didn't want to be alone with her any more, epsecialy at night. She refused to go out in the sunlight.
I don't think she was an actual vampire, but she sure seemed to have an unhealthy interest in them!
I'd like to encourage you to follow Jesus Christ. I do, and He has never let me down or abandoned me in trouble.
Here are a couple of good references which list solid evidences for the Christian faith:

Faith is commonly known as a belief, trust or confidence not based on Logic or Reason, but based on a transpersonal relationship with God, a higher power, elements of nature and/or a perception of the human race as a whole. Faith can be placed in a person, inanimate object, state of affairs, proposition or body of propositions such as a religious credo.
My only suggestion is to place your Faith in your Heart Alone! And not in anything external.

I hope you choose to follow Christ. I can't imagine how my life would be if I did not have faith in Christ. I can't imagine the list of cons you have come up with, any fulfillment that I have in my life has come from my relationship with Christ. I will pray for you!

"Faith is to believe in things that we do not see, and the reward of this faith is to see in what we believe" goes some proverb.
Rather than worrying yourself, decide on one b'cas you said both has its own pros and cons, but having decided believe in it and stick to it ! You will soon discover faith inside you... and you will know that faith is positive and anything positive is good!

Create a synthesis of the two. You'll have fun and be just as believable as Scientology. You might even be able to get your friends to make donations to your "church".
Best of luck and God/Vampire bless!

Trust me, its much easier to love, follow, trust, and believe in God. You always know he`s there, never have 2 fear anything, cuz nothing is more powerful than Him. And don`t think Christianity is about following rules and being a goody-goody. It`s not. You can be a cool but sensible Christian!=) I know. I am one!

You must always go with God, if you knew him better, you would see the blessings and his miricles! The other way will only bring you unhappiness and death! If you let Jesus in your heart, it will bring you a joy you've never experienced before and you'll never regret it! Trust me I know.
