Yes - Walter Cronkite famously reported the Tet offensive (Vietnam War) as a critical failure for the US, even though the offensive ended with a huge advantage for us. The reason it was reported this way was because of Cronkite's bias against the war, and pro-communism. His reporting was a key factor in the US leaving South Vietnam, resulting in hundreds of thousands of slaughtered Vietnamese (and, it could be argued, somewhere around a few million Cambodians, too!)
It's interesting that you select FOX news, as their talk shows tend to pair up conservative and liberal guests and hosts (e.g. Hannity and Colmes). CNN, MSNBC, and major media outlets tend to have hosts that are over 90% left-wing or vote Democrat, and their guests are much less likely to be Conservative.
What I would say is that FOX is much less biased, presenting a conservative/Republican viewpoint that CNN misses. MSNBC I don't watch much, but the academic studies suggest that they are less conservative than CNN.

It has been that way for a long time. However even though Fox does lean to the right they do put both sides of an issue on there and the other stations do not.

Have you watched FOX news lately? Yes, they are mostly to the right. But, they also have some people on there that are in the middle, like Bill O'Reiley. They also, are most considerate about both parties than other new/political stations like CNN.
