YEP...! - you beat me to it...! I was just about to ask that too...
It's obvious he's one of those players with a ritual of irriatating little things he MUST do every time he lines-up to send OR receive a serve, lots of pro sports-stars are superstitious like that - OR else they deliberately try to unsettle an opponent by messing about. Mary Pierce is another one... But hey...! - sometime it works... and players like that are really cheats and should be punished...!
But this bum-picking thing of Nadal sure beats me...! I reckon a best friend (or three...!) should tell him that people are beginning to talk...! Even his best fans...!!

yes i feel it looks really sick and disgusting.i noticed it long time back and i feel kind of embarrased and disgusted seeing him do that.he is one of my favourite players so when im watching his match and he does that my sister looks at me giving sickened looks infact i try to avoid watching nadal do that cos it really is disgusting.my sister says he should change the underwear he wears.i really wonder how he does that when he knows the whole world is watching him.my sister says she would concede the match to him if she had to play him cos she would never touch those tennis balls which nadals hands have touched and shaking hands with him is totally out of question.i really feel nadal should stop doing this gross act.

Let me just say, you have to give the man some credit. As a tennis player myself, I know how it is to play in crazy hot weather. And the fact that we guys don't have super-short skirts for air only makes it hotter. So eventually, after all that sweating and running, them boxers are gonna run up. And it's better to pick a wedgie than play with it.

If getting a wedgie is inevitable...as many of you say...How come you never see Federer with his hand up his ***?....
It's a really iritating trait, and it has become even worse cause each time I watch a tennis match involving Nadal, my 11 year-old brother shouts: "Wedgie!!!". it sucks.

well, playin tennis makes u sweat no? so wedgies are inevitable, and like the 1st person said, better to pick a wedgie than toplay with it. btw y do u look at wat nadal does before serving, y not look at wat nadal does when serving? his toss, his contact point etc...
