It may be difficult to insert the tampon, so get the type that say they are "easy" to use-- the ones that have a rounded tip.

No, I started wearing them when I was about 15 because I was a dancer and I was not sexually active for some years later. You use a tampon because it is cleaner and more convenient.

nope, just follow the instructions that come in the box. You may want to start with the slim or junior tampons. take your time, dont be in a rush, and dont get discouraged. Once you get it right... you will never want to wear a pad again.

No. It is possible to tear your hymen if you aren't sexually active and are using a tampon. Using tampons doesn't affect your virginity and you don't have to be sexually active to wear one.
