I don't take personally the result of the policies made by George Bush. I happen to be a citizen of this country, but I'm not responsible for the asinine decisions he's made. I didn't vote for him, so it's hard to take the views of those in other countries personally.. They should understand that I cannot control the President any more than they can control the leader of their country.

I have traversed a lot of the world, beginning in the late fortys, and they smile at you, but you just knew they hate you for the few that misbehave and refleck the country in a bad light. The ugly American, and a lot of it is true.I feel like the good Americans, always took the rap for the bad ones. I'll try to do whats right, and ignore the scorn, wait things out till they get better.

A lot of times I agree with the scorn. Sadly, the government has been overtaken by Bush and the far right, and no longer listens to the people.

I somehow don't think they know what most of it means. And if they do, they'll ignor it... like most things they aren't interested in... like global warming!!
And to date the only good thing they can quote, is ww2. Not to knock the bravery, but that generation did their bit, and now the next generation is failing to do didly-squat!! (and on that note, they only hopped in when the threat got too close)
Also to mention that most (third world) countries owe the US money is not something to be proud of. They are now even more in debt, because they were given money... not help, advice, support... money.. which they don't have enough stability to use properly.
The US should heed the insults; insults normally don't come without reason... or warning.

It is very sad for me, because people assume things about us, when they haven't even met an american, like I was reading another question that says we don't care about poor people and act like we don't have any, but every day I see people voulntering at homelesss shelters, and ads on tv and the newspapers and magazines, and we have so many charites for other contries, the person said wedont care about poor black countries, but one major charity fund in our country is abc children christian community fund that helps starving kids in south african countries. I want to become a doctor that goes to 3rd world countries and help people. We don't like hearing about more suicide bombs in Iraq, or people killing other people,we have hearts too, its just heartbreaking to me that people convice themselves that we all are a certain, when we really aren't.

You see, Americans in denial; they are the most brainwashed people in the world. The Third World War is Izzrael and America against absolutely everybody else and it's already started. Sic Semper Tyrranis.
