well, alot of times when you first get your period, it is really irregular, it could be right on time again which would be 28-35 days, any day after the 35 would be considered late. and it could be 3 months until you start again. but the best way that you can really tell when you are going to start your period again is if you feel cramps or bloating which usually happens 1 week before you start your period but everyone is different. the best choice for you would be to keep a calendar and write down every day that you start your period and how long it lasts. and look at all the months that you had your period and you will notice a patern. so then you will be able to track your period.Good luck hun and congrats on becoming a woman!

It will probably be about a month from when it started this time. Its true that it can be irregular, but most often it will be about a month. Mark the first day on a calendar each time, so you will get an idea of about the time it will come. It can start a few days early or late when you first start getting your period, so maybe start expecting it about three or four days before a month is up just in case. If you are concerned about it starting early, and that can be pretty embarassing when you're not expecting it, you can start using those thin pantyliners a week before it is supposed to come just until you get the idea of when to expect it. And four days is about as long my period was for the first few years for me, its about 5 or 6 days now.

Everyone is different. You may feel cramps, sort of funny feeling in the tummy area and maybe nothing. Just carry something with you around the same time next month, so you'll be ready. Or wear a mini pad for the time you think it may come. It will keep you from being embarassed. Sorry, but we're all different. you may not get it right on time next month, they are irregular most of the time but not always. just be prepaired. you are a woman now and pregnancy is possible. So, make sure you know everything you need to know. Don't listen to girlfriends or even more important boyfriends! Get advice from a trusted adult woman that you trust has made good decisions and ask her. Good luck you're a woman now!

A regular period cycle is roughly every 21-25 days. It is true for some girls that they might come irregular until your body starts a patent cycle. But mine started when i was 11 and was regular like clockwork straight off.
Because everyone young girl's body is different no other person can tell you when you get them next. That is totally up to your body and when it is ready. You may not even get any symptoms (most do) which of course is some lower abdominal cramping or pain.
All i can really tell you is to make sure you carry stacks of sanitary pads with you and be on the lookout for any wetness in that area every few weeks.

depends on the girl. its fine that it lasted for 4 days i mean ur lucky. but u shouldn't be worried because it lasts differently for each girl because each girl has a different body type. a way to know if its coming is to after you period count 20-35 days on a calendar so there will be about 2 weeks where u know during those 2 weeks its gonna start. so i guess just wear a pad before u go to bed during those weeks.

you should be gettin your period once a month around the same time you got it. so look at the date you got it for the first time and say its april 2nd then next month u should get it on may 2nd or around that date dont flip out about it if its a few days late you'll be ok. the time to maybe go see a doctor about it is if you go more then 2 weeks without it. after your supposed to get it

I've had mine so long I can't remember what it was like at first, but I'm sure like any other woman you should be able to "feel" a change starting a week before your period starts. Sometimes it's a mild ache in your lower back, maybe headaches, maybe you're a little more "on edge"......(i.e. symptoms of PMS). The way I've always told my step-daughters to be prepared when it starts is to carry something with you just in case. That way you won't be at school and have it start without a way to take care of it.

You will know by getting cramps, you will gain a few pounds, you will also crave food/chocolate. Also maybe you will get alot of pimples before you start. Whats also a good way is if you mark your calender around the time you should be getting it and see if anything different happens, and if anything different does happen and you start then you will know that it will happen mostly every time so you can look out for it next time.

I empathise. My daughter got hers for the first time too . It s a hard one to answer. Write down the day you get your period then you calculate approximately on the calendar when you will get the next one. Aim for a twentyeight day cycle and allow for the fact you might be a couple of days late with your next period.Hope this helps a bit.

It is not irregular. Because your body is just getting use to having one it will take as long as it needs to to have it. Once you have it again, it might have a heavier flow or not, and might last longer. The next time you have it with a heavy flow, you might want to try a tampon. Good Luck!
