I've had great service with T-mobile. Stay AWAY from Sprint.

According to JD Power and Consumer Reports, the top companies in general would be Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile. Both sources are very rough on Cingular.

In terms of reliability, I think that Verizon Wireless is the best. They will even refund your minute if you get a dropped call that you are able to reinitiate within one minute of dropping.

I have T-Mobile because it is the best for my area and they're nationwide plans are amazingly affordable compared to the others.

You can check street level coverage of the places you will be using your phone the most at T-Mobile.com to make sure you have signal there, before you sign a contract or anything like that.

It is simply opinion....verizon has the largest network (only good for talking to people for free. but they are using an outdated technology so the newest and coolest phones only work for t-mobile and cingular. Also there coverage is ok but they are only based in america so they are more expensive. Sprint, has the push to talk thing going which is ok only if your friends have sprint..... if not is pointless also they have a ton of hidden fees. Cingular is pretty good they have the gsm technology as well as t-mobile but theyare a bit expensive... on a better note they haver rollover-push to talk- and nights at 7, and again cingular is very expensive.....

T-mobile, may not have the biggest network but right now it is their only real flaw. They are rumored to have bad coverage but now adays its as good as anyone else. They have gsm technology and very good phones. they also are based out of europe so they give lower prices in america because they can........ They dont have push to talk but nights at 9 and the new myfaves which is good if your friends have a multi network variety.....

all in all id go with cingular or t-mobile....... but like i said its my opinion
