Thanks!

My grandmother has the HP 1410, which is what the F380 was called a year ago. She's had it a couple of years and it still works fine. For what my grandmother uses it for, I'd rate it a strong 9.

One thing to remember, though, is that this is a low end printer. It's made for people who don't really print that much. The ink cartridges in this printer don't hold very much ink. Sometimes people who print a lot will purchase a printer like this because of it's cheap price. But then they find themselves replacing the ink cartridges too often. So, for people who do moderate printing, this isn't the ideal printer.

Personally, I would spend $30 more and purchase the C3180 (which is a step up from the F380). It is built a little bit better and has a few more features I think you would like. This printer also holds smaller ink cartridges.

If you plan on printing often, look into the HP C4180. It uses cartridges that hold more ink, it prints nice photos without a computer. This machine costs $150, but you'll be more satisfied with your purchase.

Of course, it's up to you. If you don't print that often the HP F380 will be perfect for you. Cartridges are inexpensive, and so is the printer. Happy buying!

P.S. If you happen to come across some extra money, take a look into the HP C5180. I have this printer, and it is the best one I've ever owned.

I had worked with this model printer, it seems to be very good.
Its kinda low end All in One model, but is very handy.
The Print quality is pretty good and the Photo Quality is also good.
When compared with the cost of a High end HP Photosmart All in One's this printer is worth for the price its been sold.
Pretty good All in One printer for a Home use.
I'd rate 7 in a scale of 1 to 10.

My experience with all-in-ones has not been good. I went back to specific-task machines.
