On behalf of all the men in the world, I propose an Agreement!
We agree to put the seat down on the toilet when we're through.
If they promise to put it back up after they're through!

i in my opinion, did no longer supply a hoot if I spent one extra 2 seconds popping the seat down after a male. even if, one night I have been given very below the impression of alcohol, went to 'smash the seal' and fell in the present day with the aid of, because of the fact the seat substitute into up, and have been given semi-caught interior the bathroom. it extremely is my own rationalization for wanting the seat down after a guy transaction =)

Andrew, if you go potty out in the woods, that's probably the proper place for blokes like you since you haven't the courtesy to put the seat back down. Notice, the toilet seat is optional to lift up so you lazy men don't pee all over the seat. When you are ready to poop, how does it feel when you sit your buttocks down on cold, pissy, porcelain...feel good to you then?

It isn't a matter of whether or not we're able to do it on our own. We can, obviously. It's a matter of respect. When a man leaves a toilet seat up and knows there is a woman in the household, he's sending her a message that she's a second-class citizen and not worthy of any consideration. The general rule is that a man who leaves the seat up is not going to be considerate towards women in other areas. A man who always remembers to put the seat down shows that he cherishes the women in his life in all aspects.

It's not a question of girls or boys, its just general courtesy to leave the toilet seat ready for the next person.
Everyone sits on the toilet, its not just girls!!

I couldn't give a hoot if a guy leaves the loo seat up, I have better things to think about than something as trivial as that.

I know that we women can put the seat down, we have to most of the time, but think about it men stand most of the time? so if they leave the seat up and a small woman ( or little girl) goes in and sits down with out noticing the seat is up, what happens? we fall in. and if the commode wasn't flushed that is very unsanatary. Now if you had have a small daughter wouldn't you want the seat up for her sake?

It's common decency. Why should men open doors for women? Why should men pay the tab? Even though i'm a girl and I guess you could say biased.... It's just another one of those gentleman-ly kind of thing that is starting to go "out of fashion."
It shows respect, in my opinion.

Usually, it would be common courtesy or good manners on a gentleman's part. I usually ask nicely the first few times. I raised boys, so I taught them to be gentlemen.

Because it just reminds us that you've been for a pee. Nobody really wants to be reminded of anybody's bodily functions (unless it's a fetish), so that's all.
It isn't a big deal, just not very nice to be reminded!
