Swear, cuss or curse words are usually slang words to describe an act or a thing that a person thinks is dirty or foul. Almost all of these things could be described without using a "cuss" word. For instance f#ck, could be intercourse, a$$, buttock, and so on. If the person speaking wishes to add more "punch" to their meaning they also may use "cuss" words. Some are probably invented out of necessity, because there simply wasn't a word to describe something obscene( or considered obscene).

Would you tolerate somene being angry with you? Of course not, in most cases the only time cuss words are used is by someone that is angry and that is why cuss words are not tolerate. Not to mention how cheap it makes a person who uses them

Because they are not appropriate to use in certain settings, Like in church, in school or standing in front of a judge, Yes, they are just words, but you are using them because you have a lack of expressing what you need to say with out using non-valvular words. you say them to get your point across, the difference in saying Please sit down, then.... Go sit the F**k down. I guest you don't have kids yet, But I can't see you looking down as you hold your sweet baby girl and say, " Daddy Loves his little___________! I also don't think it's a good time to use it when you're standing in front of Judge, Hey what's Up M***** F***** will get you more time, then a Little respect of Your Honor.
Yes , they are words....( but there is a time and a place for any words. ) Saying you have a bomb would not be a good time to say, when you are on a plane.

Words carry power that people might oversee.
Imagine all of the offhand remarks that you've said to put someone down, and it hurt them. Really honestly HURT THEM.

I hope you don't think its ok to cause people pain by "only words."

Put simply, its because of what the words represent.

I'd suggest you read the book "Bawdy Language" by Lawrence Paros.
