Do you try to make her sleep alone in her room? Because she is probably screaming because she is alone.

My baby is now 3 months old and had the same problem. Does she spit up a lot too, like a lot of her bottle at once, or more than once after a feeding? The best thing to do is to talk to your doctor of course, but I'll tell you about my situation. My daughter had her nights and days mixed up, but we recently found out that she might have a slight allergy to milk or some acid reflux. The doctor had me switch to soy formula and since then she doesn't spit up as much at all (I had to change her and me maybe 2-3 times after a feeding sometimes) and now she sleeps very well at night and doesn't have much trouble getting to sleep. I know it can be really frustrating at night when you want to sleep..just try to get your rest during the day when she naps and stay calm...just cuddle her at night while watching tv or singing to her. If you feel too frustrated, put her in a safe place and leave the room for a few minutes until you can breath again...get a snack, take a drink of cold water, etc. and try again.

Does your baby sleep a lot in the day? Maybe she needs to be stimulated more during the day. Do you leave a night light on? Try a soft night light that doesn't shine in the baby's crib but provides a soft glow into the room also a mobile or music box that plays soft music. If there is no improvement check with your doctor she may be colicky or something. Good Luck and Congratulations

It could very well be a reflux issue since she is lying flat and probably just ate. They have medicine for this and many babies do out grow the problem. It also may be that she is craving close time with you at night. My husband and I co-sleep and we love it!! Our baby feels safe and secure and we get great sleep at night. It isn't for everyone, but if it could work for your family you might want to give it a try. By the way, our little man is 7 months old and perfectly healthy so don't be too worried about all the talk of co-sleeping being bad or dangerous for babies, as long as you don't do drugs or drink you shouldn't sleep hard enough to do any harm. For more info try going to Dr. Sears.com.

Some babies require a little more stimulation than others. (itsss sooo normal!!). It sounds like your baby is one of the many :)... Maybe she is so excited during the day, that the night becomes too quiet and boresome. Does she sleep in your room?... if she does, maybe you could move her to another room and "equip" her with one of those timed mobiles to keep her company and if you dont have an extra room, invest in some earplugs :) so that you can get some sleep while the mobile plays.

Keep a light on, like a small lamp. Remember, they are born in a hospital and the lights are always on there. You could also try getting a little music box toy that can hang over her bed so she can watch it.
I know you need the rest, but try to keep her awake as much as possible during the day and she will eventually adjust to the time she has to be asleep.

Sounds like baby has night and day confused. When baby wakes at night, check diaper, nurse or offer bottle, and make sure the baby is not too hot or too cold. Go ahead and hold and rock your baby. Keep things fairly dark and quiet. Eventually, your baby should sleep better. If it continues, you may want to call your doctor.

i be attentive to you may get this plenty besides the undeniable fact that it relatively is in all probability everyday. maximum young toddlers (infant and up) in many circumstances are cranky in the night while it relatively is on the brink of bedtime. My daughter (now 10 months old) exchange into a similar way. She is a sort of "uncommon" stable and happy toddlers (in accordance to my mothers team and others I definitely have met). each now and lower back at night she could have a crying spell that should final for an hour and then she could bypass lower back to everyday. This stops around the time she exchange into waiting to go around greater (2 a million/2 months old). it ought to be too plenty activity or not adequate activity, possibly her naps at the instant are not long adequate for the duration of day, or she could could desire to nurse longer. while she exchange into an infant, her quiet-time began at 6 (after her night nap), i could in many circumstances only play together with her in mattress (we co-sleep), examine books, or hear to music (sing-a-longs). Now that she is older, I start up her quiet-time at 7pm, then bedtime ordinary starts off with tub at 730 and he or she is in many circumstances asleep by utilising 830-9. Having a time table (which incorporates what variety of playtime etc) relatively enables, sticking to it relatively is not ordinary for some. I only finally nailed down her time table 2 months in the past ha! desire this facilitates.

Give her a pacifier during the night or a play toy like a teddy. That will help. It worked for me.
