how come on the launch day of new video game systems, companies only send like 5 or 6 to stores. It's stupid. Bassically it seems like systems are not actually out for like two weeks after thier launch, if even that.

well if your the wii you have alot of systems out and no manufacturing problems

if your the playstation 3 you got the bluray manufacturing problems to deal with so that would limit the number of consoles able to be shipped. they would like to sell as many as they can but the fact is the ps3 is very hard to manufacture

That is not true. There is about 15 systems per store. But I agree, that still isn't enough to keep up with the demand around the world. They can only have so many systems per store, so they have to evenly distribute it.

Because its up to the company that made them how many they will make, and they have to be evenly stocked on stores all around the world!

blame the sony and microsoft...they only produce a miniscule number of units..and therefore have to distribute there systems accordingly resulting in such low numbers of consoles in stores
