i am about to turn 18 in less than two weeks... i would like to have some type of get together, but i dont have much money... any suggestions for what i could do?

Let your family/friends know your intent. I'm sure they will get together for you...they will bring food and gifts.

Ask everyone to bring there favorite CD and go to the dollar store and buy chips, they have chocolate fondue-----make chocolate covered strawberries. Go to the grocery store and buy some bread and sandwich meat and cheese-----make finger sandwiches. Buy some Hi -C fruit punch and slice oranges and lemon------make a bowl of punch. If u didn't exceed ur limit, u can get some cheap decorations and decorate in ur fave colors. I hope it works for u!

Maybe just have a small get together at your house with your closest friends. It could be like a potluck where they all bring something to eat and share.

Have a house get together and ask everybody that comes to bring a snack (chips) or drinks (perferablly sodas)

Have a party and let the people bring covered dishes (drinks, sides etc.) and you supply the meat or vice versa.

have a sleepover with a few of your best friends and have everyone contribute to renting movies and ordering pizzas or whatever . . . . or just hang out and play video games or board games or whatever you like to do . . . just have fun . . and happy birthday!!!
