Sarah McLachlan - Fear (which is a love song but not like an obvious one)
Sia - Breathe Me (there are peppy parts in this song but overall it gives me a feeling of sadness...of change)

the only sad songs i can of now are last kiss by pearl jam about a man that is on the first date with his girl and a truck hits them and the girl dies. another is lips of an angel about a man and a woman that cannot be together because of their other spouses.
