I am very sensitive down below. I had my period last week and wore a pad. my pad rubbed aganst me and now i have a pimple like boil down there. Does anyone know anything I can do for this to go away.. its hard and its really sore.
If you know anything PLEASE let me know.

And also since im so sensitive down there I have tried every soap out there I cant use body washes including baby wash.. I tried pretty much every bar soap too. The other day I read in a magazine that Neutrogena Facial Bar the original formula fragrance free kind is very good soap if you are sensitive. Has anyone tried this? Is it good?

P.S. - I have gone to the gynocoligist she said that i am just very senstive down there.. And that i should just wash down there with water but..I think thats just gross. So if anyone knows of any soaps I can try please tell me.

& be serious nothing rude
Thankyou :]

I have this same problem and I am sorry to hear that so many other have it too.

Boils in the genital area are painful. I sit in the bath with epson salts or baking soda to try to draw it out. I try hard not to press on them because they are indeed very painful!

Actually, my allergies do not afford me to opportunity to use too many soaps so I am stuck with Ivory or Dove. But I still get them whenever I get a yeast infection, wear a bathing suit too long or any type of irritation that rubs in the area.

In my case, I usually end up with an antibiotic to resolve it and worse case, the dreaded "lancing" by the doctor. This is not an option that I would recommend as they do indeed PRESS HARD to get the fluid out!

Take the baths with the epson salts or baking soda for 20 minutes in very warm water. Try to express it gently, if you can each night. Get plenty of rest. Take your vitamins and if all else fails. Call and ask for the antibiotics.

Please don't be "brave enough" to lance it yourself. Pushing the infection further into your system is the last thing that you want to do!

I don't know how to get rid of the boil type thing - but I do know that you can buy boil ease cream and it will help with the pain it's probably causing. Also try to avoid nylons until it's gone - they'll rub.

My daughter has eczema and is extremely sensitive to any type of soaps. The only thing she can use is ivory. Don't know if you tried it or not yet, but it's worth a shot.

I have the same problem but also involves the area under my breast and underarms. I use Ivory soap and if I use anything else, I break out into a painful rash "down there" and under my arms and breasts. I carry a bar of Ivory with me when visiting relatives or traveling, because hotel soap will tear me up. Hope it works for you because I know how painful it can be. PS. I have tried all those other soaps and they don't work.

I to am very sensitive. Most soaps will burn or give me a yeast infection. The Dr. also told me to use only water. I use safeguard. The reason I use it is because my husband and my daughter have exema, they are very sensitve to alot of soaps. This one doesn't bother their skin. I wash with it and rinse right away. I haven't had any problems. I Noticed that someone said they used Dove....That one gave me a yeast infection. Usually if they are strong in perfume it isn't a good sign. Good luck

Well, vagisil makes a wash just for down there. Check that out. Also try Pears Soap. It is a facial soap and is very gentle.

To wash try bathing in baking soda dissolved in water. It is gentle and has anti-bacterial properties. Regarding the boil, heat draws the puss to the surface so that it will pop. A very hot wash cloth applied to the area daily. Or you could try dabbing neat tea tree oil on it. It will probably sting a bit but it will dry it up.

I am sensitive to, my gyno recommeneded dove unscented soap and I have had no problems what so ever. As for the boil soak your self in a warm bath and try to pop it or let it pop. if the warm bath does not work try to use a warm wash cloth as let it sit on it to soften the skin up.
