I've been watching the anime InuYasha and my one of my favorite characters is Ayame though she only appears for a few episodes, I was wondering if she appears in the manga like she does in the anime.

No, Ayame was only in the anime so they could adjust the differences between the manga and anime and fill some plot holes in the anime. She is mentioned in the manga but never appears in it . Ayame is in the animanga which is different the manga because it is based on the anime. We aren't sure she she'll make a appearance anytime soon in the manga.
