Yea, and as an Eagle fan, I don't know what to think. Is this the end of the McNabb era? I mean, come on, be realistic. Yesterday, Reid said in his post game news conference- 8-12 months recovery time. That means that next year, he would just be getting off the bench now, or maybe not even playing next year. Now, here comes the hard part. Where do you upgrade next year. If you lose out, and go 5-11, which would suck, do you draft a QB in the 1st round, just in case Donny Mac isn't fully recovered? An ACL tear is probably the worst injury in sports. In 3-4 months, you feel recovered, but you cannot cut or make those quick moves with your legs, and maybe he will never be able to again. Wow, just think of Donovan McNabb as a pocket-passer, like Trent Green or Drew Bledsoe. I know, I know, Bledsoe isn't playing anymore. But who is our Tony Romo? Is it Garcia, who threw 22 incomplete passes yesterday? Is it Feeley, who went 4-1in 2002? What about going after a free-agent QB? A trade in the off-season? Who knows, but the real question is, have we seen the last of Donovan Jamal McNabb on the field in a Philadelphia Eagles jersey. These are questions Andy Reid has to answer RIGHT NOW, from his home in Villanova. Maybe Jay Wright can help him out a little.

I do have faith McNabb merits plenty greater effective than the scientific care he's getting. The Redskins signed him to be their starter, and for Shannahan to bench him and on desirable of that placed him on the third string place, that to me is a slap contained in the face. you do no longer sign gamers with the purpose of benching them. specific he did no longer precisely meet each and every of the expectancies for this season, yet there is not any reason to bench him, exceedingly this late contained in the season. Will he play someplace else? i think so. For one, McNabb is obviously in disagreement with what occurred, meaning he must be taken care of with recognize and play on a team which will extremely be hassle-free with him of their dealings. The Redskins placed a ton of expectation on him, and that they defaulted on their settlement which became into to maintain him the starter. i might desire to ensure him fidgeting with the Vikings or the Cardinals. the two communities are in desperate prefer of a veteran QB. i do no longer think of that's the tip of the line for McNabb. At this element, McNabb is probably to be traded or launched in accordance with how a approaches down issues have long previous in terms of his benching. McNabb merits greater effective than this, and that i think he will initiate returned with the aid of fact he's beginning cloth.

I hate to Say it but its true. I am a huge Eagles fan, but he tore is ACL against the Titans today. He got knocked out of bounds (on a clean hit) and he fell awkwardly. Sadly to say now we have to live with that former piece of crap lions and 49ers QB Jeff Garcia.

Yes he is. Torn ACL, which is usually around 9 months on the sidelines. He will be lucky to play in the opener next year.

TO will be out for the season, too, when the Cowboys miss the playoffs. They had a great day, but they still suck.
