Hi there. Great question but the phrasing is even better. To me, and that's just me, your question states: 'Religion is the worst philosophy mankind has ever created. Do you agree?', and yet you do not question the existence of God. Nicely done!
Back to the point. Forget about religion, just for a second, and think about HOPE. The philosophy of hope is much worth, or much better, than religion philosophy, dependable on your point of view and your present position in life.
Let's face it, when most people prey they're just hoping that GOD can here them. When you apply for a new job, there is nothing but hope. On your way to your new job, you hope there's no drink driver a front of you. And on, and on, and on.
Bottom line, you can make yourself feel better, about religion, by reading all or some of the material available. But with HOPE?

Actually, communism/socialism is the worst philosophy ever created. It made just as many ppl suffer over a shorter timespan than most any religion.

Maybe for some religions it may be so but as a Christian I believe the events in the Bible actually took place and the more we discover about the history of the time and places of the Bible we find more and more truth. history backs it up. So, I believe in the idea of Christianity and the belief compels me to behave and act in ways that are good and hopefully right throughout my life. by believing and doing I become a better person. I don't beleive in forcing any religion on anyone, i am responsible for myself and I am commanded to love my neighbors, to do good, to not steal, hate or any of the things that would cause me to become a burden to society. I am commanded to help those in need and to feed the poor and visit those who are in prison. I am not the judge. That is someone else's job. I am commanded to not judge. Though, if a man harms people and children and is that messed up , I believe in an eye for an eye. That would cut crime way down. If everyone lived a life of service as we are commanded, we wouldn't have the problems we have today. If we cared more for someone else and not ourselves we would be in paradise. Ther is so little of that today. we all want more for o0urselves and push our way through to get it. Sorry I go on and on.

If it weren't for religions mankind would have destroyed itself long ago.
The proof is evident now that that irreligion is rampant; we are on the verge of finally doing it.

The worst philosophy is selflessness. Useful people become slaves to the useless .

No, some people are making it seem like that. There are some religions which are not pressing to follow god.
