This is a serious problem, as diabetes affects circulation "down there" the same way it does in the toes, etc. And high blood pressure medication can cause erectile problems.

Ask your doctor if you can use Viagra. That usually helps a lot. But many men who have both conditions also must skip their morning blood pressure pill to be ready for sex in the evening. Ask your doctor if it's okay to do that once a week, with or without Viagra. Yes, there is no spontanaity that way - but it beats no sex at all!

Get your blood sugar under control. Keep it at around 100 at all times. You can do this by reducing the carbohydrates in your diet and eating 5 -6 small meals a day rather than 3 big ones. Just cutting out putting salt on your food at the table and reducing the number of sodas your drink Will bring down your blood pressure. If you seriously cut your carbs you may safely increase your fats just a little. This combo should get you back in the sack.

Cause Many different factors can cause high blood pressure, including obesity; drinking three or more alcoholic beverages a day; high salt intake; aging; a sedentary lifestyle; stress; low potassium, magnesium, and calcium intake; and resistance to insulin. 2, 3 Primary, or essential, high blood pressure accounts for 95% of all cases of hypertension. 4 Secondary high blood pressure, which is caused by another disease or medication, is less common. Elevated blood pressure readings may not always mean that you have high blood pressure. For some people, just being in a medical setting causes their blood pressure to rise. This is called white-coat hypertension.
