All I really remember is that the bad twin ties the good twins shoelaces together then causes her to be in some kind of accident?? In a car perhaps. It would be an older movie probably early eighties

I don't think they were twins, they were sisters. One sister tied the other sisters shoelaces together while they were in the backseat of a car going on vacation with their parents, and then there was a car crash and the sister with tied laces couldn't get out. She died and came back as a spirit and started offing people. The mom was played by Rhoda from Mary Tyler Moore. That was a creepy movie, I remember her head coming up at the foot of her mothers bed at the end. It's called Don't Go To Sleep

If it's the movie that sivart is talking about, I think it's "Don't Go to Sleep". IMDb.com says it came out in 1982.
