The recognized date for His birth is December 25. We are not really sure that was the date. Why do you think His sign is Pisces? Is it because Christians use a stylized fish as a recognition symbol?
The history of the Christian fish symbol:
The fish outline is a logical symbol for the early Christian church to adopt. Fish are often mentioned in the gospels. This is what one would expect, if Jesus did most of his teaching in the Galilee. The synoptic gospels state this, although the Gospel of John denies it. Fish were a staple in the diet of Galilee.
Some Christians believe that a second link between their religion and the fish symbol is seen in the Greek word for fish (ichthus, spelled: Iota Chi Theta Upsilon Sigma). That is an acrostic which has many translations in English. The most popular appears to be "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior"

First of all Jesus was not born on Dec 25, it just so happened the early church picked this day to be His B-day. Second of all, He referred to Himself as a fisherman and twice He provided fish to the people - once for the 5,000 people (fish and bread) the other time for his disciples who didn't catch any fish all day.
Take into account the calendar we are using right now was not the same system used in his time. The pope just decided one day that the date should be changed (just so we didn't follow pagan calendar I guess).
The devil in ancient cultures was described as Capricorn (the goat) and it represented death when drawn onto cards or carved onto wood. I wonder what a Cap would say if he/ she reads this :)
but as long as nothing bad out there was born in August, I think I can keep answering Yahoo questions no matter how stupid.

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
Deuteronomy (18:10,11) King James version.
Astrology, channeling, Ouija boards, predicting the future, and much else is forbidden. The author of Deuteronomy does not argue that such practices fail to deliver what they promise. But they are "abominations" - perhaps suitable for other nations, but not for the followers of God

alright, ill answer your question, this is the Truth (read a book if you don't believe me) so don't bad mouth me cause its bad news. all Christan churches celebrate Jesus birthday on the 25th of Dec. but it wasn't his original birthday (we celebrate Easter holiday to celebrate his Resurrection but he wasn't resurrected during Easter but we celebrate his Resurrection during that time) we are celebrate his birthday on 25 but its not his B-day.
its the day the church's set up to celebrate jesus's birth and resurrection.
almost all of these are roman astrology signs(these astrology sings below and most used in the us), when you were born in rome these were the symbols (drawn by stars in the night sky, just like big and little bipper you would draw them out) that were drawn out in midnight sky for that month ( i think they had 12 months in yr.). you want to see something cool, go to one of those horoscopes and checkout the month your born cause other countreys do different astrological sign im a monkey in japan. astrology goes back way back & everone had different stuff for it

This topic has been debated for ages and can be summed up in alot of the answers above..
December 25th marks the rebirth of the sun or winter solstice to the acient roman pagans. some have thaught that people have got that confused with the birth of the son. some say its just another attempt at christanity trying to convert the pagans.
Some more Indepth information can be found here: http://astrology.about.com/od/celebrityfamous/a/jesusbirth.htm

Because he wasn't born on Christmas Day. The Christians just adopted December 25th (which was a Pagan holiday at the time) as the date of the birth of Christ.

Unfortunately the bible doesn't mention when He was born. Historians have been trying to figure it out by checking historical records for events/circumstances mentioned in the bible at the time of His birth. So far, the day, month and even the year are still not known.

Because he was born in February not December. The christian religion was taking over the pagan holidays and they chose Winter Solstis, easier to convert the pagans. The pagans celebrated with fires, candles and bringing in the holly and ivy because they stayed green all year around. They were celebrating the begining of the sun's return. very important. That day is also the shortest and darkest. The fires were to bring back the light. To welcome it back.

The fish was adopted by the early Christians as a secret sign to let other Christians know that other believers in Christ were in the area or that a secret place of worship was near. Used mostly in Rome before the adoption of the crucifix as the sign of Christ
