Three to Seven days.

ANY time you go over 7-9 days you NEED to talk to your OB/GYN. At that point things just MIGHT be going wrong.

Yes, its normal. Clear, or whitish without a strong odor is called discharge. When discharge is clear and slimy it means you're ovulating, or the consistancy of an egg white (eggs are maturing and being released to the uterus, happens once a month about 12-14 days after you start your period) If there was a yellowish or cottage cheese like discharge or an odor than you would need to see a doctor. Discharge changes color and consistancy throughout your cycle and you will observe similarities from month to month

Every woman is different. When I was younger, I had mine for 7-9 days. Now that I'm on the pill, I only usually have it for 5 or 6 days.

It is different for everyone. My wife's used to last about 5 days. After she had her daughter she now only has it for 3 days.
