It has a Blu-ray player, and Blu-ray players are about £/$1000, but the PS3 is about £/$500, arn't we getting a pretty good deal, even though it may not be the best Blu-ray player and may not have very fucntion that an actual Blu-ray player, but it's still a Blu-ray player... that just happens to play awsome looking games, :D

PS3 looks very nice and has alot of features. The graphixs are great. But some PS3 owners are having problems with their PS3 and are sending them back.
2nd, I heard the PSP blue-ray DVD player sucks. I have to check up on that one, because my friend's son has one and but he hasn't played any movies yet.
Third, no Playstation has ever been that high priced. People are nervous
And fourth, the playstation is going for a lot more on eBay, $1000-3000 bucks.
And fifth, not everyone can really afford it. Some people are unemployed and etc. Not all of us has the money to spurge on the PS3. Just think about that. Buying the PS3 plus some games, some blue-ray dvds and acessories such as a controller comes up to about $800 retail price or even more than $3000 bucks on eBay.

It is a cheap way to buy a Blu-ray player, but no-one uses Blu-ray players at the moment. It's still all DVDs and mainstream could either go Blu-ray or HD-DVD.

the playstation 3 is practically a steal if you consider that Sony is losing about 250 for the 60 gig model and about 300 for the 20 gig model
