I have two kids with a whore. I thought we were to be married. I was in love. I am so pissed that I am now some typical part time father. Am I living in the wrong era if I want to be married and have a normal family?

Nope. There's still hope for a normal married family with kids. It's just that these days they are becoming less prominent than in the past.

No, it's not wrong to want to be married and have a "normal" family. But, I do think that it is wrong that you consider the mother of your children a whore. Even though things may not have worked out between the two of you, you should still think a little higher of her than that. After all you decided to have unprotected sex with her and created 2 children together.

No you're not. If you want to be married and have a normal family you should get married BEFORE you have sex. I did that and it worked great for me. That's why thinking you're going to get married isn't good enough to have sex with someone. If you want a normal family then find a girl who believes in no pre-marital sex and marry her. It's wrong to think you can have premarital sex and then end up with the same kind of family that people used to have in bygone eras when most people didn't have premarital sex. If you're willing to do what those people did, you can have what those people have.

No way. It can totally happen. I am very happily married with 3 kids, 2 of them were before i met my husband. I never dreamed i could be this happy and secure. There are old fashion people our there like us who want this. I love eatin dinner as a family every night and tucking my kids into bed. Keep the faith bro and let God bring her to you, in his time. It will happen.

Everyone makes bad choices, so when you have lemons, make lemonade. I don't think it's the wrong era for wanting a family, it's who you've chosen to do so with that is the problem.
