The book is better.....The books are always better. Movies deviate too much from the story line sometimes, the directors call it "Artistic License" I call it garbage...LOL

I enjoyed the book better. The book gives more details. However, I really like the movie too! So, I suggest you read the book, watch the movie, and then you can decide which you prefer. =)

the book is so much better than the movie. movies don't include all the thoughts going through the characters head and stuff like that. the book tells you that. when you read the book you have to imagine what it was like.

Well I really like the movie. But i don't know I usually make a note to read the books first. But i haven't and it is usually harder for me to think of the story in my own imagination when I have an idea of what the characters are like.

for those who love to read it is almost a given that they cast the movie in their head as they read who would make a better movie for your enjoyment you or someone esle you don't know rarely is there a movie that is better than the one yu see when you read if you can find a director that does that stick with them for movies that you really like the more yur read the better your will be at directing your own version of the story

The book is always better if you have a good imagination.... if your silly with your imagaination, go for the movie! I liked both, but first I would read the book, then what your imagaination can't conjure up, the movie will. Have fun!

worse. It stunk. I only read it halway through. I almost didn't see the film, but I am glad I did. It was good, but not something I plan on watching over and over.I think Sparks is a highly overated author.

The book is much better, and a little different. Quick read. Highly suggest it, oh...and make sure the kleenex is close by!

Both are great, but I prefer the book. There are a few subtle differences in the storyline, so you might enjoy reading it.

i didnt see the movie, but i found the book to be rather boring, what with long descriptions and lagging at points.
