many of the ocarina players have seen zelda use a bow, she's not too bad...
but seriously - link. if you ask me, someone so humble that they are willing to sacrifice themself for their princess time and time again, for over 15 years now, he is more noble than his princess.
especially since he's never a soldier or anything, he's just a kid that picks up a sword, and doesn't feel that it's right to let some things that he's seen just go.
plus, lets think about what all link can do! he can use an item called a hookshot to not only pull himself to other areas, but also to pull enemies over to him to be finished off, a la scorpion.
he can play an instrument that can change the weather, change the wind, change the time, summon a bird to carry him elsewhere, all sorts of things
he can bring statues to life just by standing near them, stun them with a simple instrument such as a boomerang, and then use a bomb to eradicate his persuer
link is nothing short of excellence
