I know!! I hate it when people listen to my CD's and only listen to the song that was overplayed on the radio. That's why I forbid anyone to play MakeDamnSure around me.

I used to be like that myself. People are lazy and don't take the time to really do research on bands. Plus young people just hear the singles unless they own the album, and they say they LOVE or HATE the band just by judging that one song.

Sometimes people say they like a band b/c they know this one song that they really love... Does it really matter anyway?
Besides, why are you frustrated that people other than you happen to like that band? If you were a true Queen fan, you'd be glad that other people enjoyed their music as well, even if it was just that one song ;)

I think they're just trying to fit in.
It used to bother me a lot but they end up making a fool of themselves in the end.
The least they can do is buy an album for starters.

Maybe they like that one song? I frequently like a song but don't know the singer. I don't see a need to know every song a band plays to like them.

they do that because they hear one song that they like, and assume that all of that band/group/singers songs will be like that. but a lot of the time, its not.

You don't have to know all or most of their songs to know you like them. You can just think they are good with one song.
BTW "Under Pressure" is my fav.
