How are you going to stop Troy Smith, figured it out yet??

I don't see how Michigan thinks they could do any better in the NC game. Michigan played a flawless game on offense, putting up 39 points, in a hostile environment, while never turning it over. Yet the Buckeyes, played a great game on offense, which other than a few games this year, has been the norm, but had 3 turnovers! Two of them deep in OSU territory that resulted in 10 Michigan points, also the first points all season allowed by OSU after a turnover, and one came at the Michigan 29 yard line. If you add those up, that is 10 points off of Michigan's score, and possibly even another 3 or 7 added to the Buckeyes score had they scored on that drive, not to mention all of the momentum Michigan gained and Ohio State lost after those turnovers.

Now if those turnovers would not have happened, we would not even be talking about a rematch, but because of the Buckeye errors, there is still a possibility of it happening. I do believe it USC wins out, that they will vault up to number 2 because a win over Notre Dame helps their Strength of Schedule because they are adding a top team to their schedule, and kinda like what happened before with Ohio St. and Texas, when Texas lost, Rutgers moved past Ohio St. in the computer poll with Texas falling. Same thing could happen to Michigan with USC beating Notre Dame, which would really hurt because USC is already ahead of Michigan in the two Human polls that make up the BCS, the Harris and Coaches Poll.

Now I do believe that Michigan is the 2nd best team in the nation. They have a great offense, defense, and solid special teams, I just think that losing the last game of the season, with USC close to them in the rankings, and still having a Top 10 team left on the schedule, that a win over them will vault them past Michigan. Congrats to Michigan having a great season though, good to see them back after last season, and good luck to them in their Bowl Game, unless they play OSU of course.

the obtrusive answer is USC will be ranked # 2. in the journey that they purely had a million loss, i might want to lend a hand with that. besides the undeniable fact that, i trust that Boise State must be placed into the # 2 spot. after all, they're going to be the purely undefeated crew left, which honestly provides them a very good argument for being # a million. it really is yet another tale. #2 Boise State #3 USC #4 LSU #5 Ohio State #6 Michigan

First, we wouldn't be beating them a 2nd time coz we did lose yesterday -- but it was a close game. Whether or not Michigan can beat Ohio State in the Championship isn't the point (although I'm rooting for it). I believe they are the two best teams and that's why they should play.

I knew all the could-a , would-a crap was going to start sooner or later , Michigan you had your shot and came up short , that is why the games are played stop cryin its pathetic !!!! now yes their is a possibility for a rematch , if it happens GREAT , That would be a great feeling to beat Michigan twice in one year I hope that does come about , but just stop crying about your loss , if we don't play you in the National Championship see ya next year , and don't get your A-S-S kicked in the Rose Bowl , Remember you represent the Big Ten Conference .

I could care less if Michigan could win vs. Ohio State, although I think that these 2 schools know each other so well, Michigan has as good a shot as yesterday.

Personally, I want to see these two teams play again, because they are the two best teams in college football.

Troy is hard to stop but OSU let up THIRTY NINE points so i don't think u should be so cocky either. A rematch could be great, and a neutral site could spell the difference.

Because OSU has the meanest, rudest fans in all of college football. I can't believe how incredibly obnoxious the postings have been from OSU fans. What college town has the police department beg the local stores not to sell beer bottles (only cans) to protect the visitors? What college stadium installs cheap slippery turf right before a major game (and that turf is cheap, even OSU players couldn't stay up on it!). What other college town runs radio ads begging fans to be nice to the visitors? Only OSU! I hope whoever plays OSU in Arizona puts their fans in their place. You don't deserve to be a part of a national championship.

I love the buckeyes, and yet I have to say it was a close game, and there are lots of small things that can throw the game either way, they scored 39 points on a team with a 7.8 points per game allowed average. thankfully we are amazing.

what a truly great game.

It seems to me that you are an OSU fan that doesn't want a rematch, because you know we are the only team that can beat you

Because they put up a real fight yesterday. You know, if that illegal contact didn't happen towards the end, the game could easily have gone the other way.
