The genuinely happy. By any measure, they are by definition the most intelligent. If you already know you are going to die, how intelligent is it to dwell upon that knowledge? It'll just make you sad! The man wo can whistle (and genuinely enjoy!) his favourite tune as they wheel him to the gallows is far more intelligent than you or I!
