I thought this was America, I thought I was free to do as I please. I guess not. I am a big fan of Jar Jar Binks. I have an elaborate, realistic Jar Jar costume that I wear every day, as I walk around town and have adventures. Yesterday, I had my costume and mask on and I had to go to the bank. There was a very long line and everyone was grumpy. To help pass the time, I did dances, great Jar Jar quotes, I screamed at the top of my lungs. I stuck my face into other peoples and made funny noises. I took stacks of deposit slips and threw them at the teller, I slapped papers out of other costumers hands. The manager said I had to leave and I said no, then actually TRIED TO PHYSICALLY REMOVE ME! I went limp and started screaming at the top of my lungs that the manager was trying to rape me. He let me go and I got up and ran around in circles screaming and pushing people. Several people tried to chase me. I ran up to the manager and punched him in the face. I was arrested. Why?

Because there are rules of decorrum and you choose to ignore 'em - clearly you drove the people to their wits end. It's one thing to entertain, but when you start throwing stuff at people and knocking the money and deposits out of the hands of other customers - let alone punch someone in the face - people will think you have gone too far or that you are insane and possibly dangerous. Full costume? You are lucky you were not arrested for trying to rob the bank instead of assault and disorderly conduct charges.

Peace!

There is a difference between being a fan and going overboard, the reason why you was arrested was for disturbing the peace and assaulting the manager. What you had done would have been funny at the start but if a manger asked you politely to cease what you were doing then is recommended that you do cease. Also on the point of being a Jar Jar Binks fan I was a fan myself but I wouldn't go to the point of wearing a Jar Jar Binks costume everyday.

You thought wrong.

You dont have the freedom to do as you please. You have the freedom to do what the govt. allows you to do. You have the freedom to not hurt other people.

Even if you behaved in a civil manner, you would not have the freedom to wear a mask into a bank. Even on Halloween.

Had you entertained people, you might have been ok. Perhaps not. That depends on if people complained about it or enjoyed it.

Btw, are you over 6? If so, by how many days?

Well, probably because you broke the law(assault). Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, you were being an idiot. Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, you like Jar Jar Binks.

Probably because you broke a dozen laws. Are you now in a prison for the criminally insane?
