First off, run alot(speed) and lift weights(strength)
Second, work on foot work so you can sort of "juke" the opposing lineman

I played defensive end in highschool also...I was first team all area and have many records for sacks at my highschool still. I am not bragging just trying to show you i know what im talking about....first thing about sacks is getting off the ball its all about speed off the ball, a simple drill of gettin into your stance and exploding out of it will help that speed. when your on the line in the games WATCH THE BALL! like it is the only thing on the field normally in the first quarter you can pick up with the counts will be and you can read "tells" by the center...he will squeeze the ball or shift his fingers or look up or soemthing an dyou know when the ball is being snapped, reaction off the ball is key. Second shedding your blockers...i was very good at PUSH-PULL if you get good enough at this it wil lbe the only move you need to use against amateur tightends or tackles. I could practically flip players over in a second with this move after getting very good at it...you can only practice this in practice with other players but it is good...also hand drills head slapping which is illegal in highschool but i still did it and ogt away with it most of the time, forearms to the face is actually legal if you make it look like you were hitting thier chest...it stuns the blocker and makes them valnerable. giveing you better path to the qb!.....three drills i did repeatedly for speed was the dot drill and ladders, and shuttle sprints....the dot drill will be nearly impossible to explain on here in words but it is a wellknown drill so if you research it a lil bit yo ushould be able to find it...It is called the Dot-Drill. the second was ladders or steps...this is where you have 4 stool looking boxes set up in front of you at different heights...one is short the second is higher and so on...you jump to the top and jump off then to the top of the next and so on and do it back then you go over them there and back and you repeat this 5 times...it works calves and increases speed and burst....the last is shuttle drills this is a well known exercise also...you should know this one it is simply 10 yards sprints...with 1 object on the ground at 5 yards and 1 object at the 10 yard mark you run there pick up the object at 5 place it back at the beginning then turn and run to the 10 and pick it up and run back run back this increases accelleration and start and stop times which is key at DE position you have to be able to stop and chase just as fast as you need to accellerate......but even if you do increase speed DE is not all about the sack it can be about the flats ALWAY JAM THE TIGHT END!!! that is key...CONTAIN CONTAIN CONTAIN! that is your job nobody gets around you!. and last STAY HOME! you are the last line of defence on reverses.....you have to stay home...and when you do get the chance to sack break down and use good form dont overe persue you will kick yourself forever for every sack you SHOULD have had...you can get fast as you want but stick to the basics and fundamentals of the DE it is one of the most highly revered positions on the football field and is arguably one of the hardest and only the best athletes can succeed in this position....stick to the basics and take what you can get dont get selfish for sacks and hurt your team!

Watch Michael Strahan play when ever you get the chance. He is the best efensive end around. And I'm a Cowboys fan. His quickness and strength make him force to be reckon with no matter who he up against.

well u need to work on speed and pushing past people....u have to be stronger and bigger and quicker
alls that u have to do is lift weights and practice getting by people that might be bigger than u its not hard sometimes it is by strategy too u have to read the line knowing who is blocking who that way u can create a path that u can easily slip by the defense

If you get the oppurtunity, you should wrestle, wrestling will help your speed, balance, center of gravity, agility etc, if not work on your foot speed . Jump rope and do sprints etc.
