Is it just as fantastic as everything/one says it is? I sure want one, regardless of peoples opinions, but I would like to hear some peoples views that actually own one now, or any other opinion that someone may want to share.

My friend who I know was lucky enough to get one for her son. She didn't have to camp out either, she just went to that small gamestop place behind her condo that no one noticed until the put large ads in the newspaper.I actually did get to play a game on the console, Resistance: Fall of Man. And It was nice. The graphixs were good. It's not bad.
There is the large amount of digital gaming storage. You can do online gaming for free unlike with the xbox360 and of course you can watch movies with the blueray DVD player.. You can listen to music and go online. PSP connectivity, backwards compatability with PS1 and PS2 games.
But many new PS3 owners are experiencing problems and are sending their new console back to sony.
The system is pretty much made for "hardcore" gamers and will have alot of violent games like the one I mentioned earlier Resitance: Fall of Man. and if you aren't a hardcore gamer or a fan of violent games I wouldn't get one.
I would get a wii if you are a beginning gammer. Because the wii is aimed at all ages and mostly beginning gamers. It has better heat-sensor controls than the PS3, too.
Personally, I really don't think it's worth the price. It's only that high because of the blueray player, After a year, I'm betting the hype will go down and something new will come out.
And if you are interested in getting one, the chances of getting one now is very poor.

the failings i might want to do to you may want to be unlawful in a minimum of 40 9 of the 50 states, Virginia dont count number reason they prefer thier kinfolk "genuine close". deliver me some p.c.. and sick inform you extra.
