Been that way as long as I've been around. Why not call it a Grapefruit. Does Dragon fruit look like a dragon? Who knows.

in all probability the comparable reason submit Grape Nuts are referred to as that. There ain't any nuts & there ain't any grapes. And why is a pineapple referred to as that, it do now not enhance on a pine tree and maximum surely ain't an apple
