Then are you six weeks pregnant, or eight? I do not understand if they are measuring the fetus or pregnancy? They would not answer my questions.

You should know how far along you are by what your Dr. said. Don't ever go by any measurements of the baby-as that can change day to day.

I'm not sure i don't want to give you the wrong answer talk to your doctor they will know the exact answer your looking for......make them answer your questions it's what they get paid for!!!
but i think it means your 8 weeks pregnant cause they add 2 weeks usually the way ive heard it is if say your 20 weeks pregnant the baby gestational age is 18 weeks

Six weeks. They always go by the age from last menstrual period.

Those lousy ultrasound techs don't tell me anything, either. They don't understand how anxious we get about these things.Really they're just not allowed to but I think it's mean. Your 20-week ultrasound will be better- they actually show you stuff.
