ok don't like talking about this stuff but.... I am 30 weeks, and am having a larger amount of white discharge. I did have a rough first half of pregnancy, and bleed throught the first 4 months, and have had some discharge the whole time, but it started to get more as of today, I do not have symptoms of a infection, but know it could be possible, did anyone ever have or have this?

What is normal vaginal discharge?
Normal vaginal discharge during pregnancy called leukorrhea is thin, white, milky and mild smelling. Leukorrhea is normal and nothing for you to worry about.

When should I notify my health care provider about my vaginal discharge?
You should notify your health care provider any time there is a change in normal pregnancy discharge. NEVER try to diagnose and treat yourself. Spotting during pregnancy can be normal but should be mentioned to your health care provider. Notify your provider immediately if you experience spotting or bleeding that lasts longer than a day and is accompanied by cramping or pain.

Now as a mother and expecting #3 I can tell you I delt with the same thing as you with each of my pregnancies. If its the "normal" discharge mentioned above then your probably fine but always better to be safe and ask your ob/gyn/doctor. It may seem a little embarassing but trust me they've been asked the same thing a million times over by other woman, its really no big deal to them. And if by chance it is something out of the normal then its better to know and get treated for you and your babys health. Good luck and hope the next 10 weeks are easy and uneventful! All this yucky stuff will be worth it when you've got your lil bundle of cuteness in your arms :) HTH

an increase of your dishcharge could actually be just your mucus plug coming out a little at a time it doesnt have to be a big glob and as long as there is no smell or itching with it that would be my guess only because Iam going through this very same thing. Iam currently 29 weeks pregnant. However if it continues and you get itchy down there or it smells a little funny call your doctor infection could put you in preterm labor or worse it could effect your baby.
