It's for a class project. I know Riding in Cars with Boys has the scene where Drew Barrymore is "throwing" herself down the stairs over and over because she wants to have a miscarriage, but I need other examples where abortion is talked about or hinted at. It doesn't have to be stated outright or shown (not good for school).

Dirty Dancing:
Baby sees Penny crying in the dining room kitchen, and it comes to light that Penny is pregnant by Robbie - the same Robbie whom Baby's sister Lisa is dating.
When she approaches Robbie about the subject and his plans to do nothing about the pregancy, Baby secures the money from her father to pay for Penny's illegal abortion.
As Baby becomes Johnny's pupil in dance, tempers flare and sparks fly between the two young people. But the stakes begin to rise when Penny's abortion is botched and Baby goes to her father for help, and he forbids her to have anything to do with the rest of Johnny's friends - he mistakenly believes that Johnny was the father and has now moved on to a 'greener pasture' in his teenage daughter - and the two young lovers must keep their romance a secret.

Mike Leigh's film Vera Drake is about an abortionist in Britain in the 1950's. However, abortions are never specifically referred to as such by the lead character herself. She regards her work as "helping girls out". Excellent film and definitely a good one for a school project.

if you can also do TV shows, in Sex and The City, Carrie says she got an abortion and Samantha says she got many abortions.
And on Six Feet under, Claire gets an abortion.
