When I was in High School, I thought I was pretty good a chess, because I beat everyone in the chess club -- including the math teachers!

I went to a USCF (United States Chess Federation) rated tournament and played some really good players. LOL, I got my asss whipped!

There's always somebody better.

I am good at Draughts (checkers in usa), and mastermind, but 'unbeatable' no, mastermind depends a bit on luck, and perfect play by both players in draughts, would always result in a draw.

I used to think I was good at Scrabble until my 83 year old nan beat me at the weekend.
I think I'll just say "you win", and save myself the trouble of getting beaten again.
