Light sleepers remember more of their dreams than heavy sleepers. People dream more than one dream in a night, and each dream does not last very long (like a minute). When they are in a lighter sleep, people tend to remember their dreams more, that's why light sleepers remember their dreams fairly regularly, and heavy sleepers only once in a while. And no, I don't remember what I dreamt last night- I'm a heavy sleeper.

I don't. I had a dream-free night... or did i? Most of the time i don't remember, unless it's a long dream or a set of several dreams. Am i supposed to? I don't see why. I mean what for? If i don't remember it's probably not important. I'm only supposed to when i do or when i wish.

I remember golden sand dunes where wind blows between them and never stops to give the sand a break. The moon rose up to the sky but failed to fall back to the earth. I saw lives that live on empty minds and cornerless rows of brittle houses. The sense of disaster echoed over the depressing sea on all its limbs ready to attack. My body balanced on corroding stones that sank into the ground under my weight. The people of the town saw no reason to express their concern over the chaotic efforts of depression. Depression won the war and claimed the souls of the planet. I escaped in a Cavas Kuul battleship. Theeeeen....
I raced across the cosmos in search of my mom. Why I did this I don't know, but hey, it's a dream. I crashed into a moon and luckily the natives found me and took me to their hospital. These people were knowledgeable like there was no tomorrow. The force of electromagnetism was abundant. After a while, they fixed me up and I was on my way. Without a ship I was basically stranded, but since it wasn't real POOOOOFF I was on Earth. I crawled through the crowds of people and looked up to see my mom. Theeeeen.....
"I will save you Mom!" I blasted myself up to look at the monster that held my mom with a firm grip.
"Oh, that's quite alright deary. I just have a friend over for a cup of tea, see?"
" Mom, you do realize that that's a monster holding you?"
" Now don't be rude to strangers when you haven't even gotten to know them yet. Once you know them, you can start beating the cr..."
" That's not the point! rrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!" I heaved a big one at the monster and took my mom into my arms.
" Stuart, I'll call you!" I rushed away from the scene. Theeeeen..... I woke up.
As to your original question, I remember all my dreams except for the nightmares.

I always remember my dreams no matter how hard I sleep.....it just depends on how I wake up. If someone or something wakes me, I can't remember.....but if I wake on my own, I remember everything.
