If you you notice base on the record hurricane breaking season in 2004 and 2005.there was little to no activity(EL Nino season normally disturbes the development of, hurricane season in the Atlantic),some media houses which read,or interview top scientists are speculating that one cause could be EL Nino,as it can occur every 2 and a quarter year or every six and seven years.
