I have been thinking about my future and I want to do something I enjoy. I want to be a psychic, but I need to know more about the career first. I have alot of experience in metaphysical things and I think this would be an enjoyable career path.
Does the average psychic make enought to support themselves (financially)?
If so, how much?
What are some good colleges for parapsychology?
Please feel free to post any other information on being a professional psychic.
I would prefer NO rude/offensive comments!
Thanks!

I don't want to be an illusionest like david blane! I want to be a PSYCHIC. Blane is only a cheap smoke and mirror guy.

First of all, everyone is psychic so that includes me.
Second, I would not be stealing money from people! If they weren't satisfied I would refund them!
Third, psychics don't claim to know everything!

I have thought about doing the tarot card professionally. However you must remember outside of the people how are just curious. The majority of people who will visit you will either be in there 5 or ninth year. Fifth because that's the year major changes occur or ninth year because that's when ends of things are happening. Then most of this people aren't going to come see you every week. You might have once a month clients. The business is know to be sporadic at best.
Many of my friends were urging me to go professional. However after consulting people in the business about the monies and busy aspect of it. I have decided to keep it as a hobby I share with my friends.
The money thing is not consisant. You might have 10 clients this week and nothing for the next two weeks. If you want to do it to supplement your income it would be the better idea. Because you will already have a stable income to rely on.
Another thing to remember is that if your using your gift to make money then you have to put 10 percent of it back. You do that by giving to charity. Your way of thanking the universe for the gift bestowed upon you.
Hope this is helpful 2 u

I am a professional psychic. I don't think all psychics make enough to support themselves. In the beginning, I couldn't have made it without having other sources of income.
I do it because I was born with gifts that I really needed to share.
It can be one of the hardest jobs in the world. There are a lot of people out there that need/want help, and as much as you try you cannot solve their problems for them, or help ALL of them ALL the time.
I like to think that I help people help themselves.
It takes a lot of practice and energy work. You need to know how to control and protect and bring in the energies.
Not sure what else to tell you. I don't know about colleges or schools or anything.
Knowing where you live might make a difference (for those of you who are smart *sses, I am a psychic, not a mind reader), so no, I don't know where the question came from.

yes...those 1900 numbers are always hiring psychics. when you get hired, the transfer calls to you and pay you per call/length of the call. If you work 8 hours a day I am sure you can make a good living. then its private and nobody can ridicule you as you develop your talents. when you have had a significant amount of experience and a regular clientele you may want to look at a shop to do face to face readings.

stable success. i be conscious of being psychic could be terrifying, we knew a psychic who could desire to verify while people have been going to die, even how they could die and he or she could desire to verify her very own dying. in accordance to her it does take time to get used to yet she only thinks of all the stable she will do with it interior the international and he or she pleased with it now. loosen up and take it common. See it as a cutting-edge no longer a curse. X X X

You cant just be a psychic. Either you are or you arent. However there are many people who are more than willing to fork over their cash for someone to tell them what they want to hear and then rush home all happy to watch wrestling.

The fact that you have to ask these questions is strong evidence that you would make a very poor psychic.

I will try not to be rude, but you must understand that I find the concept of bilking people to be offensive. There is no such thing as psychic power. Those who claim to have such powers are either deluded or lying.
