No! Fridgidaire always used to be a division of G.M. Not positive ,but believe they were spun off and became an entity unto themselves,,:-)=

Electrolux is the parent company of Frigidaire. They are headquartered in Sweeden.

It's most probably made for them like everything else through jobbers, probably more than several using there name and standards.
