Plug it into http://search2.drugs.com/ in parts. From what I can tell it might be one of at least three different things. I tried 'par' under imprint and white as shape, and 879 as imprint and white as shape and came up with different things - nothing for both par and 879.
It *is* a prescription drug, but it is probably not a narcotic.

It never ceases to amaze me that folks ask this question on here. Are we to believe that folks just find these in their mail or a box of cereal or what?? Obviously these are being shared when they aren't supposed to be. Toss it, it isn't yours so does it really matter what it is???

Call poison controll they will tell you exactly what the medication is.
