Here are two interpretations:
The first is from Astrology-Numerology and the second is from Bob Marks Astrology
In Scorpio, Mars displays powerful emotions and desires. Mental, physical, and practical energies are are, likewise, also very high. Indeed, the level of energy with this placement is high in all respects.
You are strong, self-reliant, extremely efficient, and highly self-disciplined. An intensity of purpose surrounds all that you undertake. This position illustrates the "do or die" principle very well. You may have an innate ability to transform other people in some significant way. You think of yourself as a "take control" person and a force to be reckoned with. You probably are.
Intensely passionate and sensual, you put much of your energy into sex. You are apt to be especially attractive to the opposite sex, whether or not you physically attractive. You may be fascinated with sexuality in all its expressions, certainly your interest is always keen. You're jealous and possessive of your sexual partners. Being trustworthy yourself, you expect the same from others. You're a loyal friend, or a bitter enemy, you never forget a betrayal.
Slow to anger, you rarely loose control, but when your ire is raised, you get even, and you can do so with frightening detachment. Proud, dignified, strong-willed, and stubborn, you have the sort of presence that is always felt by others even when you say nothing.
Mars in Scorpio: Let’s say that the President of the United States has Mars in Scorpio, and aliens attack from outer space. The first thing they would do is reach for the thermonuclear weapons. Now let’s say that there is a fly buzzing around their head and disturbing them. The first thing they do is reach for the thermonuclear weapons. Mars is the fighting ability, and in Scorpio, it is either on or off. Nothing in between. People with this placement have to learn moderation in battle.

Basic astrology. Mars in Scorpio is the same as having Pluto in Aries. You will have a scar on your head or face, or acne, you will have more than your average share of near death experiences or friends that have died. You tend to have a ruddy complexion, intense eyes. You should chose a profession where, for example, an EMT or triage nurse - other's won't know what to do, or are frozen with fear, or are sickened, but you instinctively will know what to do. Death does not frighten you. You thrive on taking risks, and know how to act fast in emergency situations. You will feel in your life as if you have died and been reborn into a whole new life several times. Life will bore you unless there is an element of danger. Evel Knevil - did I spell that right, has a similar placement. You will be inclined to buy a red or black car - the faster the better. Hot tempered yes, but they let it out and forgive and forget quickly. Basically it's, I don't need to carry a grudge, God will take care of it. But death figures more prominently in your chart than in others. I'd get more into detail but relatives are here. Sorry.

Both my husband and I are Scorpios. A Scorpio is in fact a very quiet and reserved person. We will help everyone and do everything. We try to accommodated. We will never say no. But do not get in our way, or on our bad side, because we will attack when you least expect. We will fight to the end. Passionate and very sexual.
Mars is the fighting ability and in Scorpio it is either on or off. Nothing in between. People with this placement have to learn moderation.

Much depends on it's placement, such as what house it's it in and whether there are any negative or positives aspects connected to it. In a positive placement, Mars in Scorpio can be very energetic, determined, fearless and passionate. On a negative side, it can be secretive, reckless, angry and given to excess with sex, drugs and alcohol.

Mar can not be in Scorpio ever. Mars is a planet, orbiting our local star, the Sun. Scorpio is a constellation, a chance alignment of stars thousands of light years away, that have no objective grouping and form only a visual illusion of proximity to imaginative viewers from the earth. It is not a place, or an area of the sky - it is impossible for anything to be 'in Scorpio' because there is no such place to be in! That is one of the reasons, amongst many others, why the pseudo-science of astrology is such a load of old codswallop. Clap-trap like 'Mars in Scorpio' and other rubbish trotted out in Horoscopes has no bearing whatsoever to anything actually happening in space! Astrologers don't even know the real Zodiac!
Astronomer - an intense and not to be messed with person!

Confrontational and emotional in augument. They need to find a way to become more rational and objective, much less emotional in their manner and confrontations. Needing to see all is not black and white but blends and shades of grey.
If they also have mercury in scorpio then they have a double whammy emotional scenario.
You have to put all of this in perspectve along with their sunsign, rising sign and other placements at the time of their birth. Their will be other influences which may heighten or soften other aspects of their birthchart.
If I had to say one word to express mars in scorpio, I would have to say 'Hedonistic'.
