I am for it because I feel there are some crimes that just call out for it.

I think about how scared murder victims were while they were being offed by some coward. I just can't forgive such acts.

If you put them in jail instead of executing them than I feel you are at least partially forgiving them by letting them live.

Its should be used rarely but I think it needs to be an option when seeking justice.

I had this debate in a class before and at first, I was for the death penalty until I learned that the cost of keeping an inmate is the same as lethal injection. So, I decided: why doesn't a person live forever, in a kind of hell, guilty of their crimes? If they feel no guilt, maybe they belong somewhere else. Plus, the quote 'eye for an eye' leads to corruption and it will never lead to the thought of world peace people are so in love with.

Chainsaw reporting for duty.

I am for the death penalty because:

1. You intentionally kill someone, you forfeit your right to live. Society must punish people. We have spent our prison system trying to rehabilitate bad people instead of protecting Americans from them.

2. Despite what people say, it is a deterrent. Some people would think twice if they knew they could be executed.

3. I find that there is little logic with people who oppose it. They are generally very liberal, will not punish bad people, and make poor arguments against the death penalty. My favorite is "the death penalty is unfairly applied to blacks." This is bunk because if a white person does not get the death penalty for a crime that the black person does, the problem is not giving it to the white person, not giving it to a black person.

properly statistically that's greater on your funds and much less of a burden on the taxpayer to not impose the dying penalty, what with the court docket expenses and limitless appeals. some think of that's erroneous to kill everybody regardless of circumstances and that killing a individual is resorting to a shameful act equivalent to the criminal. i've got additionally heard that we are too more suitable of a manner of life to ought to motel to the dying penalty as that's barbaric. besides the undeniable fact that can we surely ask a sufferer's family members to experience a similar way? it relatively is ordinary to declare you oppose the dying penalty in case you have by no skill lost somebody close

All for the death penalty! Especially since we now have DNA and it would be very difficult to make a mistake as to identity of a guilty party. I say kill them in the same manner that they took the lives of their victims.

Yes, take a life, give up your own. Why put them inside, costs too much money, neck em. If you are against the death pen, just think what you would like to do to the person who hurt your family.

Those who have been executed have a recidivism rate of 0%. Life without parole creates major problems for wardens. How would you like to try to control a large number of extremely violent sociopaths with no way to punish them?

Sociopathic personalities do not change with any sort of treatment, the only way to stop them is death. Serial killers such as BTK, Bundy, Son of Sam, etc., the only way to stop them is death.

Absolutely.

There are just some people who can't be rehabilitated, and are a risk even locked up.
