The Americans, they do not know about their own Constitution. Most of them could not tell you what the Bill of Rights is. But ask the American piggy where the McDonald's is and he can tell you. Ask him what the #2 is at McDonald's and he can tell you.

I think that that is true in general, and i happen to know the bill of rights and what the number 2 at mcdonalds is. But yea, on average, most people take the USA for granted and dont even bother to learn what upholds our rights.

Well of course we do - how often do we see or read the US Constitution (and Bill of Rights) versus how often do we read the menu at McDonalds (or drive past one)? Any student of memory will tell you that the more you are exposed to something, the better you'll remember it. Which do you remember better - how to get to your house or what the fifth amendment is?
