i'm on deployment so i don't have much access to books, but i do have the net so I was wondering if there is a website where i could study up for the emt test and possibly paramedic test. i know it's a hands on test but i figured i might as well try and start studying now. couldn't do nothin but good so why not.

Have you taken the EMT or Paramedic course yet?
If not, I'd recommend waiting to study until you take the actual course, especially when it comes to the paramedic level stuff. Before I went to paramedic school, I thought I would study beforehand to get an edge on my classmates, so I purchased a textbook and found myself quickly overwhelmed. It's best to wait for the actual class.
